• Execute Tomcat startup script in CATALINA_HOME/bin
  • Navigate to the bin folder in your CATALINA_HOME directory.
  • Double-click and run the startup.bat script

  • Tomcat status window should open up showing status of mifos.war being deployed.
  • Mifos.war is completely deployed once you get a message similar to:  “INFO: Server startup in 103984 ms”

•  
  • Alternative, if Tomcat was installed as a service on Windows, navigate to Control Panel >Administrative Tools > Services to verify that the service's status is "Started"
• Next, visit the base url in a internet browser: http://localhost:8080/mifos
  • username: mifos
  • password: testmifos
