The Economic Projects Trust Fund (EPTF) was established by the Navigators Kenya as an enterprise development organization in response to the harsh socio-economic reality of the day and to the rising poverty and unemployment levels. Their mission is to empower entrepreneurs through training, funding and mentoring; enabling them to transform communities. EPTF was formally registered under the Trustees Act in October 1991.  Their deployment of Mifos was led and completed by X-Emplar Technologies in 2010.
